Requirements

There are some prerequisites that must be adhered to if you’re looking to get your forklift licence:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of English (written and verbal)
  • 100pts of ID (e.g. driver’s licence, passport, birth certificate, etc.)
Couse components

Recognise and respond to an emergency situation (with consideration of risk management). Apply appropriate first aid procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and operation of first aid equipment. Communicate details of the incident to emergency response services and workplace supervisors.

Evaluate and debrief appropriately following the incident.
Learn principles and procedures for first aid management
of the following scenarios:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Head, neck and spinal injuries
  • Respiratory distress, including asthma
  • Fractures
  • Dislocations
  • Crush Injuries
  • Shock
  • Bleeding
  • Unconsciousness
  • Envenomation
