CPCCDE3014A Removable Non-Friable Asbestos (B-Class)

This section is to define the aftereffects of clearing away materials containing non-friable asbestos (ACM). The various stages of removing asbestos are described in this unit, such as preparation, removal of non-friable ACM, decontamination, and clearance.

Multiple types of work sites are included – the two main categories are domestic and commercial. Trainees will be provided information on how to remove asbestos form areas such as demolition sites, new work sites, and structures which are being renovated, maintained, or restored. Some of these structures may include soils, fences, and ships, all to be involved in the non-friable asbestos removal procedure.


  • Owning a Construction Induction “White Card” (CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry). Please keep in mind that blue cards issued before May 2009 are not accepted.
  • Being 18 or older
  • Being able to provide photo identification

You must be at least 18 years of age and have photo ID. that includes your name, signature and date of birth (IE. Drivers Licence, Passport, 18 card etc).

Language Literacy and Numeracy:
You will be required to complete some basic numeracy calculations and a have reasonable grasp of the english language.

Theory, Practical Training and Assessment within our warehouse, or onsite at your factory and log book and assessment.

You will receive the Forklift Training Manual to keep once you have Enrolled in the Course allowing you plenty of time to study and review.
Part 1 – You will sit a written assessment comprising questions from the Forklift Training Manual and group presentations. This will include some knowledge.
Part 2 -Numeracy and Calculations examination
Part 3 – Practical assessment comprising pre-start checks & post start checks of forklift, hazard & controls, shifting loads, placing loads in & out of pallet racking and shut down procedures.
